The River Exchange is proud to present the Telluride Mountainfilm on Tour, a selection of short films designed to bring inspiration and education about important issues to audiences. The tour will soon visit Dunsmuir, CA at the California Theater, 5741 Dunsmuir Avenue, on May 15 and 16 with documentary films that will explore the themes connected to Telluride Mountainfilm’s mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments and promoting adventure. The May 15 showing (6-8 pm) will be twelve films designed for children’s education. The ten May 16 films (5-8pm) will be more adult oriented but all ages are welcome. A highlight of Saturday's presentation is a film called "Mending the Line", presented by the amazing Frank Moore.

Telluride Mountainfilm festival is a four-day event held each Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. Since 1979, the festival has attracted leading documentary filmmakers, artists, photographers, conservationists, mountaineers, scientists, journalists and explorers from around the world to engage in the festival’s motto of “celebrating indomitable spirit.”
Mountainfilm on Tour shares a selection of the films from the annual festival with audiences around the globe and also offers Mountainfilm for Students, a free program for schools and youth groups in the tour locations. Year-round and worldwide, the tour reaches some 40,000 people on five continents.
